SYNOPSIS:

Join us as we bring back the extraordinary professional entertainer, Alonzo Russell, and his silky-smooth voice to our stage! Not only will he be singing some of your very favorite Sam Cooke songs, such as “You Send Me” and “Cupid”, but he’ll be adding some Motown classics like “My Girl” and more. Set in the famous New York City Copacabana nightclub (often referred to as simply the “Copa”), A Night at the Copacabana will provide a window into a glamorous, bygone era in American history, when supper clubs, as the primary source of nightlife, provided top-notch entertainment, excellent food, and spontaneous thrills. The Copa epitomized the madcap fun, glamour, and sophistication of those high-living days. The club developed a reputation as the pinnacle of show business success.
