SYNOPSIS:

Veiled Justice is the fourth in a series of legal thrillers starring Lindsey Walker (attorney) and Jodi Pender (her investigator). Set in the 1990's, the people of Carver County are shocked when Lacey Mitchell, a beautiful and vibrant hometown girl, is found brutally murdered in a park near the neighborhood in which she was raised. Having taken a job as an investigative journalist for the Birmingham News, no one knows exactly what brought Lacey back to visit Carver County on that fateful night. Lindsey has been appointed by Judge Lewis Briggs to defend a young man who has been arrested for her murder, and who now faces the death penalty.  Undertaking her first capital murder case, Lindsey and Jodi find themselves more than disturbed by the events that unfold in their pursuit of the truth, which seem to be shrouded behind a veil of contradicting evidence.
